Who we are
Mantish is a semantic code review tool that helps developers understand what changed in a pull request — not just which lines differ. This policy explains what data the Mantish marketing website (mantish.dev) collects and how we handle it.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how visitors use our site. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track visitors across websites. All data is aggregated and anonymous.
Information collected by Umami includes:
- Page URLs visited
- Referrer URL
- Browser type and operating system
- Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
- Country of origin (derived from IP, which is not stored)
Umami is cookie-free and does not collect personal data, so no opt-out is required.
Cookies and local storage
The Mantish website uses one cookie for the interactive demo:

This cookie is not used for tracking or analytics. It is sent automatically by your browser with each request to the demo and contains only an encrypted session identifier.
We also use browser local storage for the following purposes:
- Theme preference — remembering your light/dark mode choice
- Cookie consent — remembering whether you accepted or declined analytics
- Sandbox session expiry — a timestamp used to avoid re-creating your demo session on page reload
These values stay in your browser and are never sent to our servers.
Waitlist
When you join the waitlist via the signup form, we collect your email address. We use it solely to notify you when Mantish launches. We do not share your email with third parties or send unsolicited marketing.
Third-party services
Fonts are self-hosted and served directly from our domain. No requests are made to Google or any other third-party font service when you visit this site.
Data we do not collect
The Mantish marketing website does not:
- Set tracking or advertising cookies
- Use fingerprinting
- Collect or store IP addresses
- Share data with advertisers
- Use any social media trackers or pixels
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data through the website (aside from an optional waitlist email), there is minimal data to manage. If you would like your email removed from the waitlist, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Mantish evolves. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
